Alternatives Unlimited- Drop Back In Academy
There are thousands of high school dropouts in America, and all have the ability to graduate and earn a diploma.
Alternatives Unlimited (AU) helps them "drop back in" with a program that fits their schedule and their needs.
Our Philosophy: Alternatives Unlimited schools operate on the simple philosophy that all students can learn, although they may learn in different ways on different days.
Students who have clearly "fallen through the cracks" have the chance to earn diplomas, as well as continue on to college and become productive members of society.
The program uses the standards-based, interactive curriculum software, NovaNet, in addition to daily direct instruction. NovaNet is aligned to state and national standards.
Students participate in regularly scheduled preparatory exercises for state
& district mandated assessments.
When students enroll in the program, they receive a schedule based on the courses they need to complete their district’s graduation requirements.
Students can easily see how long it will take them to get where they are going – graduation!
